Periwinkle Blue is excited you have found us! Welcome to our website. We are a mother/daughter team who joined forces through our love of colour and design. Mom is a retired teacher with a love of design and colour who has been sewing since she was thirteen. Daughter (that's me) holds a degree in Visual Arts and is an Interior Decorator.

We started making bags to organize and store all our little necessities and lovelies. They are much prettier than ziplocks ! The bags evolved as friends and family gave us feedback and input.

We feature a lot of Kaffe Fassett fabric as well as Amy Butler. We also search high and wide for other fabrics that excite our eyes. 

Choosing small quantities of fabric inspires us to create combinations which you will see throughout the collections. Once that group of fabrics is gone, it is not usually repeated.  Each bag is almost one of a kind. This keeps us inspired and motivated to keep the bags coming!
